Someone is offering you iPhone X at only $100...That's a great deal na! But Why? Have you ever thought about this?


Let's find out Why?

Yesterday I got an email that I had won an iPhone X smartphone of 256 GB variant only at $100 for claiming the order either I have to go to their website or directly call them on their provided phone number. Then I decided to call them instead of visiting their website as I thought that it may be a phishing website. As soon as I called them they picked my phone very quickly and when I told that I had got an email from them that I had won an iPhone X they told that "Yes sir you had won an
 iPhone X at only $100." Then I asked why you have chosen me and why you are giving me an expensive iPhone X at a very low cost. Then they told me that we are the associated partner of your SIM card and your SIM number has won the lucky draw contest conducted by us on 15th August 2018, so we are providing you your winning gift. Then I said how can I get it then they told me to give my full address detail and told me that cash on delivery is available you will only have to pay when you got your order. Then  I told that I am calling back right now with my full address detail and after that, I never called them.


Actually, why they are giving me such an expensive iPhone X at 1/10th times the lower price is because of CARDING.

What is CARDING?

Answer: Carding is a process of buying things especially in the online market with the use of others credit card details or any other card details and selling them at a cheap rate. This is an insane and unforgivable crime and you will be jailed and fined a great amount. In most of the cases if anyone had paid the online money to buy the Carded items them in most of the chances he is not likely to get the product also. The risk is not up to the seller but also buyer will be punished for buying this.

Carding is also done by hackers and hackers are very advanced in doing this so now I am going to tell you how to do carding, no that is really illegal I am only going to say that how to be safe from this.

How to be safe from being Carded?

Answer: These are the following tips to be safe:-
  • Check the secure connection protocol(https and green lock symbol) to prevent capture your card details in the middle of your transaction...Do you want to know more about this then read this  Credit card details Theft
  • Don't share any OTP or card details and CVV numbers to anyone even he promised that he is from a bank.
  • Never give the credit card to anyone or he may clone it.
  • Don't go to any untrusted website and check the website address correctly so that you will be saved from phishing.
These are only technical steps to be safe the major steps is to use your own brain as you may be tricked by any means, so it is up to you how you will protect yourself.
